Physical board game – downloadable resources

I want this resource to be used and grown by the academic community. Please find PDFs and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign files that can be used and edited to your needs.

Game board

The game board is a PDF ready to print in A3 size.

Spinners

I found spinners for the game readily on eBay – this is an Australian seller – but if you are elsewhere, I’m sure you can find similar online.

Spinner bases

Then you’ll need the spinner base – I print and cut out the circles, then use scissors or a punch to put a hole in and add the game spinner from ebay. Use double sided tape to attach them to your game boards. Try not to use blue tack, it gums up the spinner mechanism (lesson learned the hard way!)

Game cards – question cards and scenario cards

The game was originally design for very specific assessments in the auditing subject at UTS. I’ve attached the Adobe InDesign files for you to edit and create your own games. For a game with 4 pairs (8 students), you’ll need approximately 16 Question cards and 4 Scenario cards. In the InDesign files below, you’ll find samples of the cards. They are also numbered so that if you edit question 1, you’ll know which answer card to modify.

When using the InDesign files – export them to create PDFs.
Then, when printing your PDFs (they are sized for A4 paper), print them “ACTUAL SIZE” (not “size to fit”) and double sided on the SHORT EDGE (not the Long edge or the questions will be all muddled)

Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t allow us to load InDesign files on our website – but you can download them from this open access Google drive folder

PowerPoint slide deck for educators

Nothing fancy – but a basic set of slides with some suggested post-game activities. The purpose of the game is to get students and educators talking about academic integrity and becomes the starting point for a broader discussion
